TOPS Terminal ordinarily remembers the passwords used for each account so that they need be typed only once per invocation of TOPS Terminal. However, this represents a small security hole - if you call another computer, give its password, and walk away from the computer, then someone else could come up to your Macintosh and call the computer again, pretending to be you. If this worries you, turn off password remembering.
